Woman Stabbed At Downtown Apartment Building Dies

The Rochester woman severely stabbed at her St. Paul Street apartment building has died.
Rochester Police say Doreen Hildebrandt, 53, died at Strong Hospital Tuesday morning. Hildebrandt was stabbed by Dennis McFadden, 47, back on January 29th at the Andrews Terrace apartment building. Police found her in the stairwell of the apartment building with several stab wounds. McFadden was charged with assault, but the District Attorney's office plans to present the case to a grand jury and charge him with murder.
McFadden is due back in court in April.
