Police Investigating Body Found In Orleans Co.

Orleans County Sheriff deputies are investigating a body that was discovered Monday morning in the town of Carlton.

The body of a woman in her 50s was found near a home on Oak Orchard River Road and Clark Mill Road around 7 a.m. Police say a school bus driver found the woman's body. They have taken a man into custody whom they are calling a person of interest in this apparent homicide. Investigators have not released any information about the victim or what happened.
