One Man Shot, Another Injured After Early Morning Altercation

Rochester police responded to 51 High Street early Sunday morning for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival police found that a 28-year-old male had been shot in the upper body and sustained non-life threatening injuries. Another male was found to have suffered injuries as a result of being struck with the blunt end of a shotgun.

According to the victims, just before 5 a.m. two suspects broke into their home resulting in an altercation that led to the injuries. Both victims were taken to Strong Hospital.

No suspects are in custody at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
