E-Cigarettes Becoming More Popular

A new study from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows one in five current smokers have tried the battery-operated devices. E-cigarettes heat a liquid nicotine solutions and create a vapor that is inhaled instead of smoked. The CDC says they appear to have fewer toxins compared to traditional cigarettes, but their long-term health effects still need to be studied.
