Two people have been arrested for the death of an RIT professor earlier this month.
Natalie Johnson, 26, and Jerrell Henry, 28, are both charged with murder in the death of Edline Chun, 73, back on February 3rd. Court documents say Henry and Johnson robbed Chun at her home on Hazelwood Terrace and then shot her twice in the head. Johnson and Henry then dumped her body off an embankment on Tryon Park where her body was found days later.
Investigators say Henry was a neighbor of Chun and has been a person of interest in the murder from the start. He had been held by police since February 7th due to a parole violation. Police say Johnson is Henry's girlfriend and was an accomplice in the murder. She was arrested in New York City.
Both Henry and Johnson have pleaded not guilty to their charges. District Attorney Sandra Doorley says more charges could be pending. Both are set to be back in court on March 6th for a preliminary hearing. Prosecutors plan to present evidence to a grand jury before that hearing.
