State Senate Democrats Intent On Raising Minimum Wage

Democrats in the State Senate say they are united in raising the minimum wage.

But getting a deal done will not be easy. Democrats want to raise minimum wage to $9.50 an hour. Senator Ted O'Brien stood in support of the bill Wednesday. But with President Obama pitching a similar plan at the federal level, Senate Republicans say it might be best to wait.
