Redevelopment plans for the Mall at Greece Ridge will take longer than expected.
Wilmorite, which manages the mall, said the opening for the new courtyard with restaurants and stores is now slated for sometime between this summer and early fall.
The redevelopment was expected to wrap up this spring but weather and other factors changed that. But Wilmorite is announcing that moe's southwest grill, red robin gourmet burgers, and bar louie are three of the restaurants planned for the new spaces.
All of the restaurants will have outdoor seating.
"We are hoping Bar Louie, being on the end cap may actually open sooner than later. They are going to offer a patio dining experience that I think is unrivaled in rochester, it's really going to be unique," said Dennis Wilmot, Senior VP of Leasing and Development at Wilmorite.
The three restaurants need special permits from the Town of Greece.
A vote is expected next month on those permits.
Wilmot said there are two more restaurants in the works but can't reveal which ones just yet.
He said in the next few weeks, they will reveal what retail stores are moving in.
