It only took 11:03 for the McQuaid Knights to find themselves in a perilous 2-0 hole to top-seed Fairport. Even with the odds stacked against them, they rallied for two in the second period to tie it, and 44 seconds into overtime, Michael Campbell's goal sent McQuaid to the Class A Section V championship.

Campbell finished the game with two goals, while Michael Capicotto tallied the other for McQuaid. Mitch Deridder and Alex Schoepfel scored Fairport's two goals.

With the win, McQuaid will take on Penfield in the Section V Championship on Sunday, February 24th at RIT's Ritter Arena at 3:30.
