Fatal Car Accident in Darien

One man is dead after a two-car crash in Genesee County Wednesday.
It happened just after 6 a.m. at the intersection of Route 238 and Attica Road in Darien. Genesee County Sheriff deputies say Timothy Beszczynski, 25, collided head on with a car driven by 59-year-old Mary Dufour. Rescue crews had to use extraction equipment to free them from the cars. Beszczynski was pronounced dead at the scene. Dufour was taken by amublance to Erie County Medical Center with a fractured leg and other injuries. Investigators are still looking into the cause of the crash.
