West Brighton To Be Serviced By Henrietta Fire Department

By: WROC-TV
Updated: February 19, 2013
The town of Brighton has a new plan to provide fire service for West Brighton.

Brighton Supervisor Bill Moehle says the town has made an agreement with the Henrietta Fire Department. Last summer residents voted to dissolved the West Brighton fire district. The town contracted with the Rochester Fire Department in the interim to figure out a plan for permanent service.

The Brighton Town Board will formally vote on the plan on February 27th. A public hearing will be set for sometime in April.
