By: WROC-TV
Updated: February 18, 2013
Pope Benedict XVI addressed tens of thousands of pilgrims during his weekly blessing in St. Peter's Square Sunday.

It was one of his final public appearances before he resigns at the end of the month. At the blessing, he asked for prayers for himself and the next pope. The pope will be out of the public eye this week while he takes part in a Lenten retreat.
