Former Amerks and First Responders Hit the Ice for WWFD

Area first responders hit the the ice Saturday afternoon for a benefit hockey game.

Former Amerks joined the responders at the Blue Cross Arena. The event was to raise money for the West Webster Fire Department.

Along with ticket sales, volunteers were also accepting donations to "Fill the Boot". When healing from a tragedy firefighter Sandra Jones says it's what the Department needed.

After the game visitors were welcome to stay for the Amerks game against the Hershey Bears.
