Crews were on the scene Thursday night of an Amtrak Train that collided with an empty car.
The accident happened near the intersection of Route 350 and Quaker Road.
The Macedon Fire Department said a car was coming down 350 and got stuck on the tracks.
The driver, Daniel Drake of Fairport, and three passengers got out of the car when they saw the train coming.
That's when the train hit the car, splitting it into two pieces.
No one was hurt. Drake was ticketed for failure to keep right.
Two buses took train passengers to the Rochester Train Station.
Investigators said the train will probably be stuck for a while because of the car parts on the tracks.
