Updated: February 12, 2013
Wegmans will temporarily close its East Avenue store as the company prepares to finish up renovations and debut its new expanded store.

The store will officially shut down on February 23rd at 6 p.m. Wegmans plans to move the pharmacy across the street next to the Country Club Diner. While the store is closed, crews will tear down the building and make way for a new parking lot. Employees at that store will be moved to other locations while the construction wraps up.

The new store is set to open on May 19th.
