Gates-Chili 56, Hilton 50

Kori Bayne-Walker scored 20 points with six rebounds and four assists as Gates-Chili came back from down two points after three quarters to beat Hilton 56-50 in Gates Monday night.

The game was originally scheduled for Friday night, but postponed because of the snowstorm.

Cierra Dillard had a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards for the Spartans, who outscored Hilton 17-9 in the fourth quarter after trailing 41-39 through three.

Maria Jackson was best on the Cadets with 18 points while Amy Hasenauer scored 14.

Gates-Chili was down 19-12 in the second quarter before closing the half on an 11-2 run to lead by two at the break. Hilton erupted for 20 in the third quarter to re-take the lead, but the offense went stagnant for the final eight minutes.

Gates-Chili is 17-0, while Hilton falls to 12-5.
