A Rochester native was feeling musical and generous, holding a benefit concert for a church food cupboard.

Matthew Swensen and fellow vocalist Paige Kiefner performed at the Rochester Third Presbyterian Church in Rochester.

The goal was to accept donations and canned goods for the church's food cupboard. Swensen has been a member of the church since 2001 and says it the least he could do.

The concert had a packed house, they raised just over $800 and plenty of food to help the cupboard.
