The woman who first reported her husband missing has now been indicted by an Ontario County grand jury for his murder.

Rose Chase, 31, has been charged with second-degree murder, tampering with evidence and endangering the welfare of a child. Sheriff deputies say Chase pushed her husband, Adam, down a flight of stairs after an argument at their home on Mott Road in the town of Stanley. Deputies say Rose then took his body to her mother's home in Yates County where she allegedly dismembered and cremated it.

Chase remains in the Ontario County Jail on $100,000 bail. She will return to court on May 2nd.
