A Batavia woman is facing multiple charges for allegedly pocketing thousands of dollars meant for a non-profit organization.

Jodi Coe, 37, is charged with 36 counts of criminal possession of a forged instruments. Court documents say Coe pocketed a total of $6,600 from "Austin's Army," an organization raising money for a young child with cancer. The complaint alleges that Coe wrote checks between October and November of last year from the organization's account to herself to support her gambling problem. Five Star Bank has repaid the organization all of the money that was stolen.

Coe has similar charges pending in the town of LeRoy.
