Ontario Co. Legislation Challenges SAFE Act

An Ontario County Board of Supervisors' committee is taking a look at legislation that opposes the New York SAFE Act.

The resolution urges the state legislature to rescind the strict new gun control law. It says the law was rushed to passage and is detrimental to hunters, sportsmen and legal gun-owners. But it does say part of the law, like the Webster clause and mental health record review, are positive.
