Rochester Police Cruiser Involved in Crash

A Rochester Police cruiser was involved in a crash early Friday morning. The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of Clifford Avenue and North Goodman Street.

Rochester Police say the cruiser was traveling with lights and sirens on to another call when it collided with the car in the intersection. The car then hit a light pole.

One person in the car was injured and taken to Rochester General Hospital. The officer was not injured.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
