Power outages and school closings

High winds across the Rochester region Thursday morning have resulted in thousands of power outages according to RG&E.

By 6:30 a.m. RG&E reported over 6,500 power outages.  Over three thousand of those were in Livingston County, and over two thousand in Ontario County.

As of 8:15 a.m.RG&E says that number dropped to 1,036.  810 of those in Monroe County.

There have been three school closings reported for Thursday morning, including Dalton-Nunda, Geneseo and Mt. Morris.
