Flu Spread Easing Across Monroe Co.

New numbers show flu cases in Monroe County are still on the rise, but slowing.

As of January 19th there were over 2,300 confirmed flu cases in the county. That's up from just over 2,000 from the week before. No one else has died from the flu. That number remains at nine for the season. So far, nearly 500 people have been hospitalized because of the flu.
