President Obama Inaugurated For Second Term

Thousand converged on Washington as President Obama took the oath of office for his second term as U.S. President.

The President was administered the oath by Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, alongside First Lady Michelle Obama and his daughters, Sasha and Malia. The event featured several musical performances from James Taylor, Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson and the renowned Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. In his inaugural speech, the President talked about the meaning of equality and the importance of America moving forward to make the dream Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had a reality.

This year's inaugural events were organized by New York Senator Charles Schumer.
