A local car dealership held a seminar Saturday for first responders. The seminar was at Doan Chevrolet in Spencerport and over 100 first responders showed up.

The event was to help firemen and police officers know how to handle accidents involving hybrid or electric vehicles.

"We're glad to provide the knowledge with the seminars as well as the products where they can really look at the products themselves rather than trying to learn in training online or through a manual," said Scott Pundt, the general manager at Doan Chevrolet.

Due to the overwhelming turn-out, Doan is planning to hold another seminar in the spring.
