Old Navy Fundraiser for West Webster Fire Department

Employees at the Old Navy in Webster raised close to $2,000 this weekend for the West Webster Fire Department.
The two day fundraiser was at the Old Navy on Ridge Road. It included a raffle with items donated by local businesses like Ulta, Cold Stone, and Atlantic Family Restaurant. Kids visiting the store were invited to color pictures and write letters to both Webster firefighters and police officers.
"It's unfortunate for something like this to happen for them to get the recognition that they deserve and for people to come out and for people to show them the appreciation. It was really important because they do make sacrifices every day," said Janel Pelrah, assistant store manager.
All proceeds go to the West Webster Fire Department.
