Both Rochester General Hospital and Strong Hospital are asking the community not to visit patients if they themselves are sick or not feeling well. Beginning on January 7th, only two people will be allowed to visit an RGH patient at a given time. Meanwhile, Strong is restricting two visitors to patients in the maternity ward and the children's hospital, and that remains in effect for as long as the patient is in the hospital. Their visitors can only be age 14 and up. They are also asking all unvaccinated visitors who spend time with patients to wear masks.
