Ridge Rd. Fire District Raising Money For West Webster

Fundraisers continue across the area to benefit the families of the fallen and injured West Webster firefighters.
The Ridge Road Fire District held a community boot drive in the Mall at Greece Ridge Friday morning. Randy Jensen says it is an opportunity to honor their firefighter brothers and give everyone in the community a chance to contribute.
"It gives them an opportunity to make a small donation, a lot of people can't afford to make huge donations but they want to help. Anyone who can donate a dollar or two dollars is going to be helpful for these families of our fallen firefighters and injured firefighters," Jensen said.
Ridge Road firefighters will hold another boot drive at the mall on January 11th from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Donations will also be accepted at the fire station on Long Pond Road until then.
