Monster Jam at Blue Cross Arena

John Seasock is the driver of "Grinder," and he loves every second of it.

"It's so cool to be able to drive a truck like this," says Seasock. "It's 10,000 pounds, 1500 horsepower, tires are 6 feet tall, and we can jump anything in our way."

He says he could even jump clear over the average house!

"We'll have a donut contest where we'll spin the trucks around like a cyclone," says Seasock. "We'll have a wheelie contest, freestyle and we'll have racing. So with a smaller venue, it's a lot more personal and you get to see the trucks a lot more than other stadiums."

Scott Rehn is the announcer for Monster Jam shows, and he agrees the Blue Cross Arena is special.

"You can go to outdoor shows and see these types of things at fairgrounds, but nothing like you see here," says Rehn. "You're so close to the action, it's really cool."

And Monster Jam will bring out the little kid in just about anybody.

"The big huge tires are the first thing they notice," says Rehn. "It's a normal truck with these huge tires."
