Mendon Girls Hold On In Rainbow Classic

Lauren D'Hont scored 24 points as Mendon won the girls version of the Rainbow Classic 45-40 over Sutherland Friday night at the University of Rochester.
Erin Lyons added nine points and six rebounds for the Vikings, who led throughout the game.
Sutherland did tie it late in the third quarter and the Knights were never down more than seven points in the fourth. Liz Greendyke paced the Knights with 16 points.
