The Livingston County Jail is under investigation.

The District Attorney's office and New York State Police are investigating several of the county's jail deputies for possible misconduct with time cards. The alleged misconduct involves full-time and part-time deputies swapping shifts in exchange for cash. In other words, a part-timer working a shift for a full-timer would be reimbursed in cash, but the full-timer's time card would reflect their normal shift. A tip to the D.A. led to the investigation.
