Police are investigating a deadly crash in Seneca County.

It happened just before 6 p.m. last night on Route 96 and Brewer Road in the town of Waterloo. Police say Jean White, 59, failed to yield the right of way at the intersection. She was struck by a pickup truck driven by 70-year-old Stephen Lansing. White had to be extricated from the vehicle. She was taken by Mercy Flight to Strong Hospital where she later died. Lansing and his two passengers sustained minor injuries. The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
