Rochester Ranked High For Volunteerism

A new survey has ranked Rochester as the number two city in the nation for volunteerism.
That is according to the government's Volunteering in America survey. Last year our city's volunteerism rate came in at 34.8 percent. That is out of 51 large metropolitan areas across the country. Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota is number one with a 37 percent volunteer rate. Seattle, Washington came in at number three with a 33.4 percent volunteerism.
