Officer Willo Glynn was on DWI detail after 1 a.m. on North Goodman in the middle of a traffic stop when he saw a car swerving all over the road with the alarm going off and the lights flashing. He signaled for the car to pull over, but was not prepared for what he found inside.
"I run to the other side of the vehicle, and as I go to the rear of the vehicle, I see a woman in the back of the vehicle and there's a baby's head crowning. So she was giving birth right there in front of us," says Glynn.
She was too far along to make it to the hospital, so the officer helped deliver the little girl on the side of the road. Mother and baby Leila are doing great.
