It was a busy day for many golf courses in Rochester. Crowds of golfers came to Eagle Vale Golf Club excited to tee up before the winter hits our area hard.
"Look around. Look at this weather! I was working away at my desk and I'm like are you kidding me? I said there's only one guy I need to call right now and his name is Chris," said Patrick Cammilleri.
"Everybody's really, really excited and like I said before, they are happy that we are one day closer to Spring just by having a day in the start of December that's this nice," said Chris DeVincentis, Head PGA Golf Professional.
"The fact that it's December and we are out here playing, last year we played every month of the year. We played January, February so we count our blessings," said Scott Hunter.
People at Cobbs Hill Park also took advantage of the day. Some rode bikes. Others played basketball and some enjoyed the sunshine with their pets.
"My husband is off today and we wanted to take the dog out and let it run around. Kind of enjoy the weather," said Kelly Probst.
"We actually had someone tell us two days ago that it was going to be 60 degrees today, so we were planning on doing outdoor things," said Probst.
After getting spoiled today, some say they hope for more days like this.
"Many, many years ago I remember a New Year's Eve where we were outside barbequing. It was that warm here in Rochester so it was an amazing time, so yeah we get these periods of time. It's our mini Indian summer," said Cammilleri.
