Sentencing Stayed In Case Of Walmart Assault

The Genesee County District Attorney's office confirms that the five-year sentence for Jacquetta Simmons, 27, has been stayed pending an appeal. Simmons was found guilty of assault a few weeks ago for punching Grace Suozzi, 70, in the face. Simmons remains in jail on $50,000 bond. Her lawyers have until May 31st to present their case.
