Police: Man Fell Into Genesee River

Firefighters rescued a man from the Genesee River overnight.

It happened on East Main Street near the Radisson Hotel. Firefighters say the man who fell in appeared drunk and they do not believe this was a suicide attempt. Rescuers were able to pull him from the river. Police tell us he has been arrested under the mental hygiene law.
