Union Contracts At U of R To Be Ratified

Union employees are expected to ratify a contract with the University of Rochester Thursday.

Member of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) were at odds with the university over proposed changes to their health care plan. Union employees wanted to keep their current plan, where they only pay co-pays. The university wanted to change that. About 1,700 workers are involved.
