For the football Class of 2013 at Hornell, this game will be their only loss.
Luke Morgan ran for a 74 yard touchdown on the game's second play to put the Raiders up 7-0.
Hoosick Falls scored the next 27 points.
Pine found Randy Tutunjian for a six yard TD pass on the Panthers' first possession to to even the score at 7. After a Hornell three-and-out, Pine kept the ball on a dazzling run down to the Hornell five yard line. He scored moments later.
A Hornell fumble gave Hoosick Falls the ball back at the Raiders' 22 yard line. Pine hit Josh Brogue on the next play to make it 21-7. Burns added a 37 yard rushing score to put the Panthers up 27-7 before the half.
The Red Raiders showed life in the third quarter when Richie Harkenrider lofted a 45 yard scoring pass to Brendan Buisch, cutting the lead to 27-14.
However, Burns quickly answered with a 59 yard TD jaunt and the Panthers were back in front 33-14. Both Burns TDs were straight ahead dives and Burns ran only straight ahead. In both cases, he was barely touched.
Buisch caught a 21 yard TD in the fourth quarter, but Hornell never really threatened. The 51-game winning streak was the second longest in state history, behind Massena's 55-game streak that ended in 1957.
