A man in Seneca County is now facing charges he murdered his own son. Deputies say 52-year-old Karl Karlsen of Romolus intentionally killed his son Levi back in November of 2008.

Four years ago deputies got a call to go home on Yale Farm Road. Karlsen's wife reported that her stepson was trapped underneath a car that was being worked on. Investigators thought this was a tragic accident, but later discovered Karlsen had taken out a life insurance policy on his son and it named him as the sole beneficiary.
