Police Officer Injured

A Rochester Police officer was injured responding to a domestic situation. 

The incident happened on Holland Street just before one Thursday morning.  Police say they went to arrest a man and he resisted arrest and fought with officers. 

The suspect was taken to Rochester General Hospital with cuts and bruises to his head.  The officer went to Highland Hospital with an injury to his hand.
