TYKEs Theatre presents Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Musical

TYKEs Theatre is set to begin its ninth season of live children's theatre performances on December 1 with a musical rendition of Mo Willems' Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Musical.
Freyda Schneider, who founded TYKEs Theatre, and performer Nancy Fancher, who will play Knuffle Bunny, talked about the new show Friday on News 8 at Noon.
TYKEs stands for Theatre Young Kids Enjoy. Adults perfom for children in what's described as an interactive environment. Performances take place at the JCC's Hart Theatre, 1200 Edgewood Avenue in Brighton.
Knuffle Bunny tells the story of a child named Trixie who forgets her beloved stuffed bunny at the laudromat. It is recommended for children ages four and up.
Show dates are as follows:
Saturday, Dec. 1 at 2 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 2 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Saturday Dec. 8 at 2 p.m.
Sunday Dec. 9 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
School Shows: Friday, Dec 7 at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
