Pedestrian Struck On Joseph Ave. Dies

News 8 has learned the pedestrian hit by a car Monday on Joseph Avenue has died.

Artis Simpson, 61, died Tuesday afternoon at Strong Hospital. Police say he was loading things into a van at the corner of Joseph Avenue and Kelly Street when he was struck by another car. The driver of that car suffered minor injuries. Police say they believe this was an accident. No charges have been filed at this point.
