Hundreds of people attended the cure childhood cancer "recipe for a cure" brunch Sunday. The food at the event was provided by local chefs that donated their time.

In addition to the brunch, the event included a silent and live auction. The goal was to raise money for the organization so families could focus on what is important.

"We want to take away those types of burdens and those types of cares so that they can focus on getting their child better," Executive Director Brian Wirth said.

Our very own Scott Hetsko was the emcee of Sunday's events.
