Donyell McKenzie, 41, was once again found guilty of the murder of Tyffany Porter in December 2006. Prosecutors say he stabbed Porter over 40 times in her Rosewood Terrace home. He was convicted for the crime in 2007, but an Appellate Court threw the conviction out because the jury was not allowed to consider a lesser charge of manslaughter by extreme emotional disturbance.
McKenzie is set to be sentenced on December 5th. He faces 25 years to life in prison.
