Job Growth In Upstate New York

The Rochester area is leading the way when it comes to job creation in New York State.
The State Labor department says that upstate New York had a gain of 3,200 private sector jobs, but that not as high as other gains in recent months.
The areas that saw the most growth include education, health care, and professional business service jobs.
There have been declines in manufacturing and construction jobs. There has been job growth in the Rochester area over the last three years.
