Manhattan Square Park To Open For Skating

Officials have started the process of getting Manhattan Square Park ready for skating for the winter season.  Ice skating will officially start on Sunday at noon. 

Hours will be from noon until 1:30.  Also from 3:40 to 5:10, 5:30 to 7:00, and 7:20 to 8:50.  The hours will run from November 18th through March 16th, 2013. This is all part of the city's plans for Light Up the Holidays and other upcoming festive events in the city. The Liberty Pole lighting will happen on Saturday, December 1st.  There will also be a holiday parade on the same day.
