A lot of training is going on inside the Target in Victor. 50 new hires are getting ready for the holiday rush. For many of them, this will be their first time working the, "Super Bowl," of shopping, Black Friday, "it's going to be crazy so anybody who has never worked a Black Friday has never really lived," said the store's Team Leader, Shannon Ligammari, "so it's pretty exciting, it's going to be really busy."
The store is expecting so many shoppers it's hiring even more workers. Between now and Black Friday it will add 20 more employees. They'll work in every department from electronics to toys. All employees are trained to work the check-out lines also. For the people who land the jobs, the financial boost comes just at the right time, "a lot of people will come on for a second job just to have a little bit of extra money for this time of the year so it's a great way that we can offer them some flexible hours and they can get a little bit of extra money for presents." explained Ligammari.
For stand out employees the real gift can come after the holiday season when they're offered a permanent job.
