Preston Carter Convicted of Murder

A Rochester man has been found guilty of murder in the 2008 death of a man at a Henrietta hotel.

A jury found Preston Carter, 28, guilty of murder in the death of Joel Greenburg, 40, in 2008. Prosecutors say Carter killed Greenburg inside the Extended Stay America hotel in Henrietta. Greenburg was found in a guest room by a hotel employee. He had suffered major trauma to his upper body.

Carter will be sentenced November 28th. He faces 25 years to life in prison.
