Time is running out for Kodak retirees. By the end of the year the health benefits they were promised when they left the company will likely be gone.

MVP is holding informational sessions about health insurance options for retirees Friday. Kodak announced last month that it is cutting coverage for retirees because it can no longer afford to pay for them. A bankruptcy judge must still approve the move.

The cuts would affect 40,000 retirees. One session took place Friday morning. The second session will be at 2 p.m. at the Diplomat Banquet Center on Lyell Avenue.

Future MVP meetings are as follows:

Friday, November 9, 2012 at 9:00 and 11:00 am at the Holiday Inn, Rochester Airport, 911 Brooks Ave., Rochester, NY

Friday, November 9, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Burgundy Basin, 1361 Marsh Rd., Pittsford, NY

Future Excellus meetings are as follows:

Tuesday, Nov. 6
2 p.m. and 4 p.m. at The Strong National Museum of Play
One Manhattan Square Drive, Rochester
