We knew the Lake Ontario shoreline was going to be hit the hardest by Sandy, and it was.
Powerful winds out of the northeast gusting to as much as 60 mph Tuesday evening and night raised wave heights, and slammed the water into the coastline.
After making sure they were out of harm's way, people took the opportunity to take in the rare and powerful storm. It's something many have never seen, and will remember for years to come.
